Black Magic

Black magic is well known through out Malaysian citizen especially malays. They have practiced this for century and learn from their ancestor.Reason for using black magic is solely because of own ego and selfishness. With respect to the philosophy of left-hand path and right-hand path, black magic is the malicious counterpart of benevolent white magic. In modern times, some find that the definition of black magic has been convoluted by people who define magic or ritualistic practices that they disapprove of as black magic

Symptoms of Black Magic – The Malaysian Experience

Rampant practices in black magic has led to various types of diseases and maladies that require prompt attention and cure. These diseases vary according to the strength of the individual who is a victim of witchcraft. Some may end up with mild attacks such as migraine, stiff neck, blurred vision, stomach discomfort, frequent bouts of nausea, depression, etc. Others are victims of fierce attacks such as paralysis (from the spine downwards), loss of hair, physical weakness (being tired all the time despite not performing any physical work), dementia, etc. These are just some of the symptoms on the physical level. Some physical diseases may be spiritually induced. In fact, there are many other symptoms too which do not concern the physical body alone.

One of it is concerning relationships. Many Malays in Malaysia are into this aspect. Bomohs in Malaysia conduct a thriving business by making potions that can supposedly win the love of someone without much hassle. In addition to that, the bomohs too employ spirits to break up couples or families. Households have been wrecked by such diabolical means. Even the non-Malays in Malaysia are into such practices.

The other common symptom is concerning finances. Competition in business is healthy. It brings out the best in an individual or organisation to strive for the best. But it can mean disaster to those who do not aspire to improve themselves in their trade or profession. In order to have an upper hand, this particular group do not compete on an equal footing. They resort to witchcraft to kill their competitors. Their reasoning – kill off the competitors and we strive in our business. If the competitors are unbelievers in witchcraft, they become easy targets. Their businesses suffer and they wind up their businesses eventually. However, some seek the help of spiritual healers to find out the erratic loss of business. In this way, they may be able to at least continue their businesses and stop the rot. In Malaysia, the economy alone does not affect business but the witchcraft aspect too.

The cure for these symptoms can be had by seeking spiritual help from adepts in this field. They are not far to seek. Some of them impose minimal charges for their services. If you experience any unexplainable phenomena, it’s always wise to seek spiritual help. Although it is not a panacea for all ills, it may shed some light as to what is happening in your life right now.

Villa Nabila
There are many versions about this hunted bungalow’s story which is located in Johor Bharu.

Murder case

From my research, I had found that there is a murder case happened in that villa which is involving the residences of that villa. Because of that, many people taught the “ghost” of the residences still in that villa until now.

But the question now is who the killer is? Actually who is the victim? Who is Nabila? Because in my research from one source said that this murder case is a high prolific case and why they killed? But the most important part is, is it true about the ghost story in that villa? Or it is just a rumours.

After I keep researching finally I get a relevant and trusted source.  The so-called "haunted house" was is actually the former residence of Chung Khiaw Bank president Lee Chee Shan. It used to be a great mansion that later changed hands several times. It was once owned by the legendary Purple Tycoon Yap Seng Hock.

Actually there are no ghosts inside the "haunted house," and local residents can prove that they have never met any evil spirit in the area, save for some trouble-makers who would descend on the abandoned mansion for their night adventures. JB residents have no idea why this once majestic mansion fell into ruins and became a "haunted house" and voted one of the top ten haunted locations by a US website. This show there is a lot of people still have a stereotype minded about paranormal issue.

What is Projek Kangkang ?

Projek Kangkang is an installation art about human’s stereotype about paranormal issues that has been lingering within the society. This installation art consisting of videos and audio to ensure the audience will feel and understand the messages that we want to deliver. The name of this project is taken from the Malay word which is “kangkang”. The meaning of “kangkang” is the middle or space between of our legs. The purpose of Projek Kangkang is to represent the old generation believes which is whenever we want to see ghosts we can see it through our “kangkang”. We relate this myth from the Malay’s believes because most myth and stories related to paranormal issue comes from the Malay’s society.

Problem Identification

People nowadays always have a kind of mentality or stereotype for certain issues especially when it comes to paranormal issue despite that they know that it’s only a myth and stories that were created by the old folks back then. This problem mostly occurred in Malay’s society because some of them still believe in the existence of ghost. This issue becomes worst when there are a lot of rumours about people seeing ghosts and many of them came out with their own version of stories that completely different from the true story. Hence, more people believe about the existence of ghosts and let their fear overpowering their mind from thinking logically.

Aim

To prove that the paranormal issue (paranormal) is just a story.

Objective

To remove the stereotype minded especially among Malays about this issue (paranormal)

Motivation

Deliver messages through an art because art can attract audiences. It will be more interesting when we include the multimedia elements such as audio and video.

-        Religious responsibility for Muslim to guide and help each other to be in the right path. This is because as we know in the holy al-Quran already stated that ghost is also known as Satan that will do anything in order to make human lose their faith and disbelieving the God’s power.
